Yet another example of Lott's complete failure to "get it": he actually tried to get statements of support from Condi and Colin! Why on earth would they want to do that? If he had had his wish, they surely would not be serving this country in their present capacity. Would Lott like to support my contention that we'd all be better off if he'd never been elected?
