Well, updating *MovableType* was easy enough. Unfortunately, the little problem I was trying to solve remains, namely, bad MT behavior while using the new Mac browser, Safari. I'd suppose the fault lies with Apple, if my coworker's installation on our office server weren't perfectly functional.
In general, Safari is fantastic, epecially for a beta.
UPDATE: Had style sheets confused. Working perfectly under Safari now. Above mentioned coworker is a genius.
